Hi mark,
Here's Sylvester Stallone's (Rocky) story. This is as

he told it to Tony Robbins. Stallone  made the

Famous Rocky movies here in America.

Talent agents told him that he was stupid looking and threw him

out of different agencies in New York over a thousand times
when he was a struggling actor in New York.

He got three bit parts and he was starving. His wife left him

because he wouldn't get a regular job. He lost everything.
He found a book about Edgar Allen Poe, it changed his life.

He sold a script that he wrote for $100 dollars. He hocked his

wife's jewelery. He loved his dog, but to survive he sold his

dog in front of a liquor store for $25 dollars. That was the low
Point in Sylvester Stallone's life.

Two weeks later he's watching the fight between Mohammed

Ali and Chuch Wepner. Wepner is getting beat real bad by Ali.

He wrote the entire Rocky movie script in the twenty hours that
followed the Ali fight.

He wrote down all the stupid things that producers told about Rocky

not being any good. He read that list of reasons the night of the Oscars

(awards) when his movie won so many awards.

He was offered 125,000 dollars for his script. But he said he had to

star in the movie. No way would they do that.

Then they offered him $325,000 if he wouldn't star in the movie.

The final deal was $30,000 and he got to star in the movie.

They only spent a million dollars to make Rocky and it grossed $200
Million.

When he got the $30,000, he went to that liquor store looking for the man

That bought his dog. He stayed there for 3 days. On the 3rdday the man that
Bought his dog showed up.

He offered the man $100, the man said "no way", Stallone offererd $500 and then

$1000 for his dog. The man said "no amount of money is going to get this dog for

You.

Sylvester Stallone paid $15,000 and gave the guy a part in the movie Rocky to get his

Dog back. The dog in Rocky, Bumpkiss is Stallone's dog that he bought back for
$15,000.

Obviously you can see who Stallone's best friend was?
